Lighten Up Your Vehicle Mica Lights

Mica lights that have been blurred due to fungus, scratches and abrasion-age life, besides disrupt the performance of vehicles, it can also be a trouble when the dark comes because of the reduced light lamp. To clean up mica lamp that is especially blurred out, can be done by yourself.
Before the action, prepare the materials needed such as cleaning liquid metal (Brasso), unused cloth made of cotton, sand paper size 8000, cream soap, brush, bowl and chamois cloth.
If you can remove the lamp from the lamp holder, the results will be better. Moreover, if you can remove its part one by one, do it, so each of its part can be well cleaned.
Wash all parts made of plastic with strong soap water. Use a fine brush to reach the parts that are difficult to reach.
Repeat the first cleaning process if you feel it is still needed. This process can remove all the dirt spots due to fungi.
Once it dries, note whether the mica only blurred due to a deep scratch or a fine scratch. If it is only a fine scratch, it can be done by metal cleanser.
Pour the metal cleanser on a soft cloth adequately (no need to be really wet). Rub that cloth on the mica surface with a rotary motion. No needs a long time, except the scratches are quite much.
Once it is enough. Take a dry soft cloth and rub on the mica surface to remove the metal cleanser. in This stage you can already see the results.
If it is not, repeat the process from the beginning. If the scratches are appeared to be deep enough, it can be done by fine sandpaper with a rotary motion.
No need to be too long or the mica will be thinner.
After the scratches are vanished, continued to polish the mica with metal cleanser as in the beginning process to get the result and the perfect shimmer. Then, re-wash with soap water plus fine brush to remove the remaining metal cleanser that generally may leave a white spot.
While waiting mica to dry, you can clean the components inside so that the result will be perfect. After that, assemble lamp with an appropriate procedure. Happy nice trying!
